Zoom teeth whitening is a teeth bleaching system that lightens stains found on, and just below, the tooth’s surface.
How does it work?
The Zoom! whitening gel uses hydrogen peroxide – which then turns to oxygen to bleach coloured substances found on the tooth dentin and enamel. The Zoom! light activates the chemicals within the gel and helps it to infiltrate the outer structure of the tooth.
The teeth-whitening treatment takes less than an hour. After some brief preparation, the in-office bleaching lasts for approximately forty-five minutes. Before the Zoom! treatment, it is recommended that you undergo a thorough teeth cleaning and cavity check.
How long does it last?
As long as you follow the steps to proper post-whitening care, your teeth will be permanently whiter. For the brightest results, it’s important to floss, rinse and brush daily with intermittent touch-ups using Zoom! Nite White gel or Weekender.
